If I were a textbook writer...

I'd definitely put in sentences in the books just to make people look twice at them every once in a while, and then they'd burst into laughter. Just because everyone needs a little joy in their textbook reading careers.

Here are a few for your enjoyment:

"For instance, no matter how much you enlarge your biceps by lifting weights, muscle cells in your arms do not transmit genetic information to your gametes, and your offspring will not be changed by your weight-lifting efforts." -my biology textbook

"The action must not be a simple restating of the answer to the first question, What is the character literally doing? This is because you will never be able to believe that you are the character you are playing. It is simply not possible, unless you are dangerously psychotic, and if that is the case, this book will be of little use to you." -A Practical Handbook for the Actor

That is all.
