More bitching
This...this is the last fucking straw. I have various family members added on Facebook, and therefore when they have conversations, they pop up in my news feed. I just read one in regards to the wedding about how one of my cousins wants to bring a different girl than he originally intended, and Bridezilla said this was totally fine. Hmm, I thought the guest list was limited to immediate family and friends?
I said the other night to Alex that I probably wouldn't even bother trying to go to see the Maryland family this Thanksgiving or Christmas. Why spend the holidays with people who will only acknowledge me with a brief greeting and then ignore me the rest of the night when I could spend them with Alex or Mom or Dad or anyone else? Why should I waste my time and gas on them when they would never do the same for me? I'm sick of the bullshit and I've had enough, and after the wedding, I'll be damned if I show up there for much else. If I hadn't already RSVPed I wouldn't even show up to the blasted thing and I'd celebrate Alex's birthday with him since we'd both enjoy that more.
Am I blowing this out of proportion? Maybe. But I mean it when I say that I'm not going up there after this.
