Financial Aid = <3 <3 <3
I got a letter today from my school's financial aid office. Last year, I got a letter saying that I was on my own as far as paying for everything was concerned, but that's not the case this year. I have combined grants from the state and federal governments that will literally cover ALL of my tuition this fall and spring. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This means that while I'll still have to buy my books, I can use a good chunk of the money that I'll get from selling this spring's books to buy the new ones, so that'll help the cost a lot. This also means that I can save more money to pay for my junior and senior years and avoid the dreaded student loans as much as possible. Or, if I did have to take out loans, I'd have money saved so that I could support myself.
You just have NO idea how great this is. Even though it's only one year, I'm ecstatic. WOO HOO HOO HOO HOO!!!
In other news, I averaged 30% tips tonight (which is BALLIN') and got out really really early because we were slow. I have to work all day tomorrow, Sunday night, and Monday night, but now that I'm off school, I can actually go home and relax. I love being on break.
I've started the book Marley and Me. I'm enjoying it so far, but it makes me wish I had a dog really really badly.
