Parrrrrrrtayyyyyyyyyyy!!
I went to Laura's house last night for her sister Joanna's eighteenth birthday party.
Despite the fact that Joanna's college friends decided to be lame and go to the UVA game instead, there was still a good turnout of Joanna's high school friends.
We watched home videos of Joanna and Laura as eensy weensy babes while munching Chinese food, then decided to make our own music video for a contest.
It was interesting.
Finally, we cut the cake and milled around for a while. A large portion of Joanna's high school friends left to go to Club 216, leaving us underage people (besides Joanna) alone.
And then, they all scattered away...
Laura, Joanna, Joanna's friend Corrine, and I were up watching Pan's Labyrinth for a while, but Joanna and Corinne left to go to bed. Laura and I watched it for a few minutes more but got bored with the slime and gore, and so we began to watch the fifties movie about the Moulin Rouge.
'Twas interesting.
We went upstairs around one and stayed up past six again chatting.
We woke up a couple times because of a rather annoying woodpecker that Laura was ready to kill by sunrise.
Laura's dad made us breakfast and then headed to the gallery to do what a blacksmith does at a gallery. The four of us hung out for a while until my mom came to get me.
And now, I'm home.
I'm tired, I'm cramping, and I have school tomorrow.
But this weekend was lovely nonetheless. =)
