So, I know this is totally random and we haven't talked in forever, but I'm thinking about transferring to WSU Pullman to study neuroscience. And I figure you'd be a good person to talk to about such a thing.

Just uh-- drop me a line. (three two six eight nine three three)

Ahhh sorry I just read this comment, and it was posted quite a while ago.
WSU Neuroscience is definitely awesome, and it will probably be easier for you to do than me. There is a lot of chemistry and physics involved, which I don't excel in. But yeah! If you have questions about it, let me know!

I don't have a strong background in chemistry or physics either. I do well enough with the ideas of physics, but the math is my failing point. Just something I'll have to work past, of course.

Have you done anything with the research aspect there?

Math is definitely my problem. It can be done, it's just a lot more work.
There is a lot of really cool research happening there right now. I haven't done much with it lately. I did apply to work in Dr. Schmitter-Edgecomb's lab in the fall though. She does a lot of work with traumatic brain injury and degenerative diseases (really cool stuff)but I haven't heard back about that job yet. So I will have to see.

Well, good luck with the lab position.

It's definitely good to hear that it can be done without the ideal background.

What're you up to this summer? We should get a group together to go bowling or ice skating or something.
