Stats and permissions meme!
Age: Hetalia-verse gives his birthday as March 1st, 1919, which would make him 89. ETA: Hidekaz changed it for the 2nd book; it's August 15th. Either in 1945 (Korean Liberation Day/Japan surrenders in WWII) or more likely 1948 ("South" Korea established south of the 38th parallel north)--so 60-ish. Alternately, the first kingdom of Korea was allegedly founded in 2333 B.C., which would make him 4,341 (the rest of you are BABIES!!!1). Appears 15~16, though.
Height: At least a head taller than Japan (165 cm) and China (169 cm), but no official stats. I'm going to go with this site and say 173 cm. p.s.: THE ANIME LIES, HE IS NOT THAT SHORT.
Weight: Really healthy.
Medical info: Beefy as hell, probably because at least 2 years of military service is a constitutional requirement for all men in South Korea.
Eyes: Lightish brown.
Hair: Black. His stray hair is also capable of making expressions. That's right, Korea is so emotional that he needs two faces to contain all of them.
Physical Traits: Is usually wearing this (with lower body references here). Or at least something with floppy sleeves. ♥ floppy sleeves.
What's Okay to Mention Around Him: Since Hetalia is such a cracky canon, I'd like for people to exercise caution around certain srs bzns topics like the Japanese occupation of 1910-1945 or the Korean War. Also North Korea, in case we ever get any canon about that (lol no) and I can figure out how to approach these issues.
Abilities: IS A COUNTRY? He's probably amazing at computer games, also breakdancing...?!
Fighting: South Korea has the 6th largest armed forces in the world, and the only Hetalia characters (so far) who exceed him on that aspect are China, America, and Russia. H-he can probably kick some ass? Not to mention the fact that he's canonly supposed to be really muscular. As far as getting into fights--as a character, Korea is easily riled up and kind of aggressive (though that usually outlets itself as LOOK AT ME or LET ME TOUCH YOUR BREASTS). Buuuut personally I'd like to abstain (read: I don't know how to do fight threads).
Notes For the Psychics: IS A COUNTRY? Otherwise: self-absorbed, stubborn, thinks everything originated in him (it's part of his daily routine to say that something has its origins in Korea orz), and has the weirdest sort-of-tsundere relationships with the other countries ever. Especially Japan...
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Ask! Though the latter two will make him SO ANGRY.
Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Sure! He is very likely to misconstrue it, though ([blank] gave me a handshake-->CLEARLY THIS MEANS [blank] THINKS I'M AWESOME AND LOVES ME FOREVER etc.).
Maim/Murder/Death: Um. I-IS A COUNTRY? I am not sure how this all works...
Cooking: ORIGINATED IN KOREA, DID YOU KNOW Lots of strong flavors, especially spicy~, and he is convinced it is the most delicious/healthiest food in the world.
