I am completely depressed right now, though I've been worse earlier today. As I keep getting all hearing all these news reports about unbreakable levees breaking and state-of-the-art pumps failing miserably, I almost feel bad for living in the 20% of New Orleans that isn't flooded. I've been watching CNN all day trying to stay up-to-date, but

And yeah, everything kinda sucks right now. I'm actually sort of glad this happened my first week of classes, because I've been able to focus my attention on them, and on things I can actually do something about, and it's been keeping me from getting too upset.

Yeah, part of me really wants to go back to school and hopefully I'll get back to New Orleans in a couple of months. I've been reading your posts and I'm glad your family's okay...

Meg, this whole thing is awful, I've been thinking about you all week. I'm glad to see you said your friends and family are okay, but it really is devastating.

Glad to here your freinds and family are safe. Your house has survied.
On the news here then say that the worsed of the flooding is over, so that must be good news.

I always thought that every city envied New Orleans cause it had so much more engery and charicter.

The entire country is behind your city and hoping for the best.
It will alll work out for the best I am sure.

I do have to question going to New Jersey for Sanity?
