It was a white envelope clearly addressed to them in Naya’s neat hand writing, although their address line looked to be whitened out and rewritten. Dianna couldn’t help but laugh at that. They had just moved to a house outside of the city, and apparently Naya had already written out the invites before they moved. And it was that fact that they are receiving an invite that has got Dianna so surprised.
Naya and Heather hadn’t even told any of them that they were engaged, and now all of a sudden they were being invited to their wedding on Sunday. It was crazy. She didn’t even remember seeing a ring on any either of their fingers, let alone actually knowing about their engagement.
“Naya and Heather are getting married?” It seems Lea was just as much in the dark as her.
“Yeah apparently, and it looks like just the cast is invited, and their parents of course.” Lea gave a slow nod before shifting little Izzy on her hip and handing her, her pink sippy cup.
“That’s small.” The blonde nodded and absentmindedly ran her fingers through the dark hair of her daughter that was laying on top of her, as she lays on the couch, with Lea standing behind her reading over her shoulder.
“Looks like we got to take the twins shopping for dresses then.” Sophia cooed in her arms, while Isabella stayed sound asleep in Dianna’s.
“We’ll take them tomorrow.”
When tomorrow came, Dianna was really starting to rethink this whole dressing them up thing. Sophia was being good, only refusing to wear anything that covered her arms, but it was Isabella that was being a little terror. She was refusing to wear any of the dresses either of her mommies tried to put her in.
“I don’t think she likes dresses very much.” Dianna had said after once again failing to slip the pink dress onto her daughter, who was now topless and playing with the edges of her sister’s pink and white dress, while Sophia tugged at the bow on the front.
“Go find something that isn’t pink.” Lea said, shooing her out of the dressing room while she put the other dresses back on hangers.
Dianna returned with a similar dress to Sophia’s only green, and another in blue.
“Look Izzy green, like a frog.” The dark haired one year old held the same tired look as her lighter haired mother.
“Can you hold your arms up?” Tiny arms shot above her head, making Lea swoon with pride as she easily slipped the garment over her head. After standing her on her feet and smoothing out the dress Dianna couldn’t help but sigh in relief when Isabella didn’t immediately try and take it off.
“Ok we got the twins dresses. Can we go?”
Shopping for their dresses was much easier. Lea got a strapless maroon dress that hugged her chest, but was easy to move around in, while Dianna got a simple yellow dress that tied off around her neck, and left her shoulders bare. It hugged her waist, but left the lower half loose.
Actually getting the twins to the wedding was another adventure. An hour before the wedding was suppose to take place Sophia thought it would be a good idea to spill juice down the front of her dress. Lea nearly had a heart attack, but Dianna was quick to scoop of the blonde girl and take her into the bathroom where they managed to rid the dress of the apple juice. If that wasn’t bad, then Isabella jumping towards a puddle double the size of her was. It was a good thing Lea saw that mischievous look her daughter inherited from her before the tiny brunette could even come close to jumping off the sidewalk.
“I swear these girls are going to be the death of me.” Dianna could only nod as she too struggled to keep Sophia from running off to play in the dirty water. For the life of them, they could not figure out why their girls wanted to jump in puddles so bad. Must be a thing that the girls picked up from one of the guys on set.
The wedding was outside in a park that was well outside of the city and any wandering cameramen that thought it would be a good job booster to capture the wedding of two of Glee’s rising stars.
It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for the wedding. The sun was shining, without a cloud in sight, and it wasn’t too hot, or too cold, just a perfect temperature.
The chairs were aligned in rows under a tent with the Pastor waiting at the end of the aisle, standing next to Heather, who looked gorgeous in her simple white strapless dress that hugged her chest and waist then flowed out.
The soft music that was playing, took a different tone, one that Dianna and Lea knew very well. The small amount of people stood and all turned towards the end of the aisle where Naya came out, holding the arm of her father, who appeared to have tears in his eyes.
The straps wrapped around her neck, with a small amount of silver lining right under her chest. Her dress was a little bit longer than Heather’s, but they complimented each other when her father passed her off to Heather, who immediately took both of her hands in hers.
“We are gathered here today to…”

“I am proud to introduce, for the first time Mrs. and Mrs. Rivera. You may kiss your bride.” The smiles adorning each of the bride’s faces seemed to triple as Heather held one hand to her waist and the other to the back of her neck before dipping her new wife and leaning down to capture pink lips with her own.
Cheers broke out, and didn’t stop even when the girl’s joined hands and walked down the aisle, their parents following behind, then followed by the rest of the people.

Dianna and Lea didn’t stay long for the reception party before the twins started fussing. After giving the newlyweds their congratulations, the couple quietly made their way to their car, a kid on each of their hips.
“How long do you think until they have their own?” Lea seemed to think it over before giving a small laugh.
“I give them a few months.”

Naya and Heather had gathered their costars, and friends around the set of the choir room, and sat them all in chairs before exchanging bright smiles with each other.
“I’m pregnant.” Lea was the first to give her a hug, while Dianna traded one with Heather, while whispering “Always agree with her and you’ll live” in her ear, to which Heather gave her a thankful smile.
