I think that one of the absolute best things about being into music is coming across a new album or artist that really just clicks for you, and hit you in the right time of your life. It's like that feeling you get when you start talking to a new girl you might be interested in, and you're exited and filled with anticipation for the next time you are going to even speak with her or see her. Yes, I've came across that feeling very briefly. But thats the feeling I get when I discover new music that very much excites me.
With that said heres my current playlist...
Beirut- The Flying Club Cup
Animal Collective- Sung Tongs
Animal Collective- Strawberry Jam
Panda Bear- Person Pitch
And ofcourse, I am still absolutely in love with The Arcade Fire's Funeral album. So much so that I am willing to completely write off "neon bible" as ever being released just because I know there is no possible way that they will release anything as good as Funeral EVER. That Album is picture perfect in every way possible and if I could describe anything I've ever came across as "beatiful"... that would be it.
Also, I tried countless times to the tickets to The Suicide File show the past few days, for probably atleast an hour at a time on thursday night. Then I found out tha the preorder was sold out and the only way to ger them now as to buy them at The Hoods show on Tuessday, and of fucking course I have work on Tuesday. I know if I miss that show it will seriously crush me.
Oh wel atleast I am seeing Brand New tonight and could not be more excited.
