Do you think that Blink 182's Dude Ranch will be talked about a lot in say, 5-10 years? I'd definitely say so. Not in ways that Black Flag or The Bad Brains should be talked about, but appreciated nonetheless. That album is absolutely excellent in many ways.
It's a real shame that a genre like that (poppy punk type stuff, not EMO LOL) is totally getting butchered these days. What Do I mean these days...? That genre has been getting butchered for the better part of the 00's. Thanks AP magazine/warped tour/myspace culture.
