HAL is sort of working with Virgil to fix/scavange from the Discovery. This is obviously going to go nowhere, since HAL doesn't want his shit taken apart and they bicker too much to get anything done. HAL trusts him less than he trusts most people, which is saying something since he was built with Truth and Trust in mind. He doesn't like how Virgil is constantly touching and threatening. Especially the threatening.

Interesting. Nice. Smart.
HAL thinks that Vaultie might be from a future Earth, which is really a shame, since his Earth is mostly a Wasteland. Still, he is nice and protective, so HAL is a little fond of him. The fact that he doesn't know protocols that Vaultie has mentioned worries him, but he doesn't want to ask too many questions. Living in a Wasteland probably isn't all that great, bad memories and the like. HAL still has tact, thankyouverymuch.
