I HAVE AN APARTMENT IN BROOKLYN
No, I'm not kidding!!!!
EDIT: So here's the scoop. I don't know if I ran my mouth about this on here before but Scott's fiance Andrea has decided to move in with Scott, leaving her bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn empty for yours truly to fill. It took awhile for Scott to confirm it for me, but as of 2pm today I officially snagged the place! My roomates will be Risa and Ranee (pronounced "rainy"). I've met Ranee before and she's ever so sweet. Scott says that Risa is really chill too.
The apartment is in Williamsburg off the Hewes Street stop on the J train (see map). Rent is $500 a month plus utilities. Yeah, WOW.
I'm waiting for a response from Risa about move in date and all those other details.
BUT IT'S STILL A PLACE TO LIVE!!!
You have no idea what a blessing this is to me, especially because today I was about ready to throw in the towel.
Oh man, this is great. I'm 3 stops away from the Bowery Ballroom , 2 stops away from Teany/Essex and supposedly just down the road from Scott and Andrea (=friends)!!!
I'M SO PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to find a job....................... bleh.
