family, old friends, and belmont drama

So this weekend's episode of "My Most Definitely Super-Random Life" consisted of all sorts of things. Friday night I hung out with Alanna and Nicole for a little bit after work and then met up with JAMIE and went out to a few bars. It was more than incredible to catch up on old times. I've missed that kid so much. Then Saturday I went for brunch at Essex with Erin, followed by some shopping and then dessert/hot chocolate. We stumbled upon this Young Designers Market that I definitely want to check out next weekend when I have a little bit more money (you know, more that $0) so I can pick up some super unique Christmas presents. Saturday night I took Jamie and Brian out for dinner at Jeeb and then to Teany for some beverage. I basically want everyone as in love with the Lower East Side as I am. Haha.

Sunday... sunday was kinda crazy. Got some grub. Went shopping with Jenny. Went to Blockheads with Jenny. Met a cousin I HAD NEVER MET BEFORE IN MY WHOLE 21 YEARS ON THE EARTH! Scottie (my cousin) is a really cool guy. Super nice. It was really awesome to finally meet him. While I was hanging out with him in the lobby of my hotel an insanely attractive Turkish young man approached me and I guess we're going out tonight for coffee or something now. Crazy. OH! And dearest of all baristas on the planet, Enoch, is in The City for almost a whole week! We had good Kibbe+Enoch bonding time. It was actually the first time we had ever just hung out one on one, which is crazy if you think about how long we've known each other. But whatever. I got him on the train to Brooklyn so he could crash at Mike Langford's place and get rested up for his big day today. I hope that goes over well for him.

I'm supposed to be working right now but I'm not. Shhhhh.

This morning was drama (thanks to Belmont, of course) for registration. The jerks didn't do enough communicating between Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable and I got up this morning to register with an AR hold on my account. 2 hours later I get the go ahead to register and the Physics class that I need to get into that fits my schedule PERFECTLY is full. sonofacrapbelmontwhydoistillattendyourdangschool, you know? Hopefully I can email and beggggg or threaten the school or something. Ugh.

So yeah, I need to get to work now.
I also need to get some dang papers written this week because if you read this entry closely you'll notice that I didn't get to papers at all. Bleh.
