(no subject)
Firstly, look at me! I'm updating...mwahaha.. :P Long may it last eh?
Hmm, what to say about today? Well it's been a regular Saturday really; got up at 7ish, arrived at work roughly around the time I'm supposed to.. *ahem* Was most happy to see Jill there as the "authority figure", rather than the appropriately named "evil Jane" who does no work whatsoever and shouts at us. I think Becky had the right idea when she suggested hitting her round the head with the griddle thingy (thingy? I don't know, it looks like a wallpaper scraper).
Should probably explain a couple of things here..
Firstly, I work in a small bakery near my house on Saturdays (Roses for those who know it), which is good because they are lax about timing, its staffed almost entirely by tapton school, and it means free food abundo.
Secondly, the manager (nice Jane) has had to work at the central bakery for the last month or so which is why we've been stuck with "evil Jane". Nice Jane is nice because she starts the talking instead of telling us to stop, and sometimes gets bored mid-morning so cooks us all toasties for no apparent reason. And she has a female German Shephard called Joe :P
Anyway, today was really busy and we kind of cracked by about half two. Turning our collars up we announced the formation of "the crew" loudly to Jill, and proceeded to scare customers away while having fun sliding about on the freshly mopped floor :D Almost as crazy as the time we took some left-over french sticks outside and had a mock sword-fight in the middle of crosspool (the area of shops)..hehe..
So now I'm home, waiting to be picked up by Adam's family on their way home from the blades-owls derby. Lets just say that 2 of them will be very happy, while 2 will probably not be in the best of moods >.< Oh well, I shall not let it ruin my night, as for some reason it has been suggested/ok-d by mothers for me to stay over :D This is very good, as it means more Adam, more Rosa, and probably an Everwood marathon. Everwood rocks.. Everyone go watch it!
