I cannot say I'm surprised he ended up in this den of filth and sin. You women, dressed like whores. You men who take those lustful thoughts and make them a reality. My son deserves this place. It might not be hell, but it is certainly the best place for him.

And these notebooks all over the place. You're only encouraging his bad behavior.

You seem a little extreme in your beliefs.

Of course I'm extreme. There is nothing to gain from being lenient to sinners.

You're definition of sin seems to include a great deal of things.

Because there are a great deal of sins.

Most people believe in degrees of severeness. I can't say that I've ever seen notebooks as something that encourages bad behavior.

[She's getting a bit hysterical.] His father would keep those damn notebooks, too. It let him lie to me. And Jonathan does the same thing!

He has a right to those notebooks. You don't have the right to determine whether he should be able to keep them or not.

I'm his mother! I have EVERY right to that!

You can't control his entire life. He still has the agency to do whatever he wants.

I do not want my son to end up in Hell. I raised him better than that! I am saving his soul!

You're not saving his soul, you're ruining his life. You turned him into something that's barely socially acceptable. Barely even human by the standards of most people.

Socially acceptable?! [Now she's screeching.] I DON'T WANT HIM TO BE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE. Not in this society!

You're a terrible parent. You should never have been let anywhere near a child.
