Tom and I have to leave our itty bitty studio in the horribly trendy part of town. Unfortunately, the owners want us out so they can raise the rent by a few hundred dollars. Riding around today I realized I'm really going to miss the neighborhood that once made me curse under my breath. The stress of trying to find some place reasonable that allows dogs and couples is causing my heart to flip anxiously and my brain is turning into jelly. I really hope this is resolved quickly so I can go back to worrying about superficial things like getting more exercise, petting puppies, and married life.
Good news is that it finally rained yesterday, which means it's the start of the hiking and camping season. I would like to attempt to "climb" a mountain in Oregon next summer, so I need to get my butt in good hiking shape this winter.
