I popped out of my "trying to be a good boy and sleep" mode to write this: I have to...HAVE TO see the shuttle launch before it's retired. I'm a Floridian.
I've never seen the shuttle launch. (up close at least)
That's almost as sad as saying i'm a Floridian and i've never seen a hurricane. (which thankfully I have)

As far back as I can remember, I can recall seeing the shuttle rocket off in the distance high in the sky,150 miles south... but I want to see it launch up close. Soon.
