You felt my leadership skills were lacking. You also postulated that I was deaf and that my only use was in falling out of buildings. I removed the burden of further consideration from your shoulders.
Sir, that wasn't me! That was the door-me! It's done things like this before. I'm sorry, sir! I am! I would never say anything like that, you know that I hope, and I'm sorry that I wasn't strong enough to keep it out, that it even made it through! I wish--I wish I wouldn't have let you down, sir, but since I've been back, I've been searching all over for you! I--I'll understand if you don't want me to continue my employment with you and the company, but--but--but please know that it wasn't me -the real me- that said those things! I would never!

I--sometimes they do. I wish there was a way to stop it. I hate it, sir, but we make do, as is expected.
He's ... well, he's Reno. I've known a lot of different Renos over my time here, though, sir. I think this might be the fifth? Sixth? I've started to lose count over the years. It's all the same traits and the same memories from home, but none from here, which is the only way I can really tell them apart. Might I recommend a meeting between you both to get your bearings and expectations out of the way?
And, speaking of expectations, the queen of the city is gone, presumably home. The city is currently without anyone who has experience in leadership, sir. This might be a good time to assert your skills, especially with the current... threat...we have.

I will meet with him. Sooner rather than later.
How great a threat is this? Obviously death doesn't last, but perhaps there are other avenues that can be taken to neutralize the worst of it. If, however, the problem can't be resolved at the outset.

[And yes, that was all said in one breath.]

As a precautionary measure, I should warn you that the Reno that is here now is not the same that was here when you were before.

What is he like? Is he as you remember?
