overdue update
its been FOR-EV-ER since i last updated. jeeezzz!!
WELL- I wish i had good news to update with...too bad, so sad.
Ron got laid off from his job Thursday afternoon. TOTALLY out of the blue...he had no clue. he said they actually still have uncompleted jobs out, and a few new ones coming in. but i guess boss man isnt willing to pay Ron and Matt. the shop isnt closing, it'll just be bossman and his son running it. i doubt that will work for very long.
His boss handed him his check thursday as his leaving and said he had to let him go. he said "at least you have tomorrow off to do what ya gotta do. apply for unemployment or something."
what a fucktard!!!
We're devastated right now. I cry everytime i think/talk about it...even right now. =/
this might just be the hardest time in our lives. We have no idea what we're going to do.... how we're going to make it.
Ron did apply at like 10 places friday and applied for unemployment. i hope to god he gets a job soon. its still going to be hard because we doubt anyones going to hire him at what he was making, but somethings better then nothing.
this news came just in time for my birthday too! YAY! happy birthday to me!! i cant even go out to dinner with my family to celebrate.
but you know what....birthdays happen every year. maybe next year i can celebrate myself.
