(no subject)
Net has been down the last few days while the firmware was updated in the antenna that brings the shiny wireless boardband. I have a very vague idea of what that means but when asked I nod and go "Hmm, of course." :D
Haven't really done much the last few days but highlights...
*Have completed 69.9% of Lego Star Wars II. Still not sick of flying Lego X-Wing. Digging the TIE and Y-Wing.
*Got a new pretty top and a some new black cossies. Any day now there'll be swimming, you know once Mother-Nature stops being a bitch.
*Firefox. Why the heck did I use IE for so long?
*Thailand. Coup. Mum and Dad due to fly out this Thursday. Media seems to be making it bigger than it is. People in Bangkok, etc say it's fine. And when I was there, the dudes with the big scary guns were kinda comforting. They're still going and I know they'll be fine, only going to be in Bangkok four days anyway the rest of the time they'll be on a beach. Still very green-eyed that I'll be here and they'll be near the best shopping I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. Writing a list of DVDs and stuff for them.
*Watched first ep of Rome, seems okay, will give it a few more eps and see.
*Listing to the Sister Act soundtrack. Can't find the second one.
*Learning more things about pool care. Like bricks don't go in the pool. And the blanket goes above the water! And if it goes bright bright green while Dad's away I'm to call Roman, he knows what to do. I just like testing the PH and stuff with the little test tubes, it's very CSI.
*I have $1200 saved for a laptop. I'm hoping to get about $2000 and then go and visit our neighbour who has the local Leading Edge. Mum got a very shiny one for about that so *fingers crossed* by mid-October I'll have a new toy.
*Got my Buffy The Vampire Slayer Chosen Collection 40 disc Boxset on Friday. So so pretty and the letter from Joss and the bonus disc and how pretty is he? And how hot is Adam Busch with a bit of scruff? Very! Going to try and flog my other Buffy boxsets because I don't really need 2 sets and I could use the money.
*My Mal and Jayne action figures have run off with Captain Jack and Vampire Willow and don't appear to be coming back.
*If my brother tries to borrow money off me again, I'm going to scream at him.
*Must stay away from EzyDVD Coming Soon page. My Christmas list will be longer than me at this point. I am short, though. Still far too long.
Going to bed, getting up to ironing (where the hell does it all come from?) and then the 2 new eps of Stargate. Which I'm dying to see but also don't want too. I hate mid-seasons breaks and cliffhangers. Hate, hate, hate.
