A new poem
Something's been bothering me ALOT lately. And this isn't the greatest poem, but it seems to be the best way to explain myself...
"an ending friendship"
We pretend that they won't end,
But they do,
We promise to hold on,
But grip is lost too.
"I'll Keep in touch forever",
Yet that must be coming to an end,
"We won't ever lose contact",
But what's lost is lost my friend.
Friendships ending against our will,
And I feel rejected,
Hearing stories of hanging out,
And I was not invited.
We were such great friends in school,
But it's summer now,
No classes to see each other in,
So the question's how?
But I guess we'll continue to try,
And make plans to meet,
Yet I continue to doubt it,
and I feel so incomplete.
The reason I named it that... is because it kinda could be spelled another way and still fit the poem... It could be "An ending friendship" or "Unending Friendship"
