So the Iowa City Farmer's Market was amazing. I haven't been in a while and boy has it grown. The actual number of farmer's I don't think has changed, but a great number of non farmers have joined. There were 3 different wineries hosting tastings. There's a Chinese restaurant that sells eggrolls, and 2 local Mexican places that sell breakfast burritos. Tons of crafts, a tie dye booth, baby clothes, knitted hats, dried flower arrangements, homemade Jam and salsa, and lots of bakers. Phenomenal cinnamon rolls, sweet breads, cookies, cupcakes, and pies. I had a snickerdoodle cupcake and it was great. We also bought some pumpkin bread and chocolate chip strawberry bread. As for the actual farmers, not that much is in season yet so they were kinda weak. We did get some asparagus though.
