READ IT ALL!
I can't believe it's really happening...
the only person who loves absolutely EVERYONE in tis world is dying.
He was always there for anyone who needed his help.
He was always giving us hope for better future.
He was the one who believed that there still can be peace on the world.
He was the one who understood teens.
He was the one who showed us how to forgive.
omg am I an idiot? why a saying it in the past? He's still alive. He's still thinking about us.He's still prying for us even though he knows he's dying.Spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls who's next to Pope all the time said that Holy Father is still happy & he's smiling.he doesn't want to be sad.
Today people left school and work early and headed to church to pray for our.native son.
"The pope's faith is so strong and full and the experience of God so intensively lived that he, in these hours of sufferance ... already sees and already touches Christ," Cardinal Camillo Ruini, the pope's vicar for Rome, told hundreds who packed a Rome basilica Friday evening for a special Mass for the pontiff.
One of Holy Father' visitors was Cardinal Edmund Szoka, the governor of Vatican City and former archbishop of Detroit, who said the pope was being given oxygen.
"As soon as he saw me, he recognized me," Szoka told the CBS' "Early Show." "I blessed him and as I did, he tried to make the sign of the cross. So he was perfectly lucid, perfectly conscious, but was having a great deal of trouble breathing. "And I don't know how long he can continue with that. They were giving him oxygen and all that sort of thing, helping him," Szoka said.
Cardinal Marcio Francesco Pompedda, a high-ranking Vatican administrator, visited the pope Friday and said he opened his eyes and smiled.
"I understood he recognized me. It was a wonderful smile - I'll remember it forever. It was a benevolent smile - a father-like smile," Pompedda told RAI television. "I also noticed that he wanted to tell me something but he could not. ... But what impressed me very much was his expression of serenity."
Navarro-Valls said John Paul asked aides to read him the liturgy of the Third Hour - the biblical passage describing the final stage of the Way of the Cross, the path that Christ took to his Crucifixion. In that stage, according to the Bible, Christ's body was taken down from the cross, wrapped in a linen shroud and placed in his tomb.
u have no idea how proud I am that I can shout out that Holy Father - John Paul II-Karol Wojtyla (b/c that's his REAL name) is polish. He comes from small town called Wadowice. He was the first not italian Pope & he was obviously the best. I truly LOVE him to death.I've touched him once.I'll never forget that touch. He's like rea father to me.
I want him to hold on, but it is all in God's hands now. We can only pray for him so he can pull through these difficult moments.of course- I'm polish that's why I think about it even more than the others.but no matter if u're catholic or not- please pray for Holy Father. He's there for every single person on the world.he cares about everyone. He even fogive the man who wanted to kill him. He's an amazing person. So show everyone (especially Pope) that u're there for Holy Father.
I LOVE YOU HOLY FATHER.FOREVER.
IN GOD WE TRUST.
