+ do you think dance is a sport?: Of course it's a sport. Dance causes dancers to sweat, bleed, and develop insanely huge calf muscles. But I also think it is an art.
+ what do you say to someone who looks at dancing as easy ((the “I could do that” attitude))? I take it as a compliment because if they think it looks easy then I'm doing my job correctly!
+ what do you tell yourself to get over that “I can’t do this” hump? I take a few deep breaths, forget about what I'm trying to do for a few minutes, and then try it again with a better attitude.
+ why do you dance?: I dance because I love it. I feel incomplete without dance. It is something that I have to work at, that doesn't come easy for me, so I feel very happy when I accomplish something in dance.
+ what is your favorite part of dance?: going to class every week and forgetting about everything except the movements I'm doing
+ what is your least favorite part of dance?: Being the largest girl in my class, horrible costumes, before a performance I get so nervous that I shake
+ brag a little. what are some of the strongest points of your dancing?: my chaine turns, I have been told that I'm a very graceful dancer. :)
+ how did you start dancing?: My mom signed me up when I was 3.
