{007} - [Action/Voice] - There's Some Science Happening
[ So, now that the Earthquake crisis is mostly over and the house back to some semblance of normal, naturally our resident pesky little Time Lord is restless again. He does not do domesticity, you see. He's been bonding with his daughter and doting on her, which is almost absurd given his track record. But what else can he do? He can't really play the hero - at least, not int he way he usually does. He still doesn't have his TARDIS (which makes him very displeased). It's all making him start to feel incredibly useless - and come on, he's a bloody Time Lord. Not to mention he's the Doctor. He's saved countless worlds hundreds of times with barely a scratch, why oh why is this so difficult? His name and the name of his species is not synonymous with "useless". So don't mind him if he's a little moody. He's back to the drawing board, and that mind of his has been working overtime.
At the moment he's chilling on the front porch of his house, writing down schematics of some sort (which as usual, probably won't work, but DON'T CRUSH HIS HOPE?). Brainy specs are on, and he looks like he could take on the universe at any given moment. But then he gets this look of dawning realization and whips out the Journal.]

Anyway... Jenny and I have been actively exploring and I've taken some notes. Now that I'm putting them all together and comparing, I've got a question to put out there. Do you make it a point to not get too ah - comfortable with your current situation. Or are you perfectly content with taking each day as they come - "going with the flow" I reckon is how it's often put... ? I ask mostly out of curiosity, in that I've dealt with cases of brainwashing in the past [don't look at him like that, he's realized most everyone here finds him mad long ago] and was wondering if perhaps there was something of that sort in the works.
Oh, right, and terribly sorry for the delay on this - but thanks to you lot who donated some of your electronic appliances. Jenny appreciated her birthday present! And surprisingly enough, K9 is still working, despite being made from the most primitive of devices. Hah!
