[locked to "the Outsiders"] - backdated to May 7th
Okay, everyone. We've sat on our laurels long enough.
First off, this is where we are. Thanks to the info we were able to get from some of those attackers, I know where the money that they used to pay those bounty hunters off came from. It tracks to an anonymous account held by a digital world-wide bank. In other words, it's what we in my world call a "swiss bank account."
Unfortunately, I don't have the info to connect the dots yet.
But here's what we do know... there's a lot that's hokey in this dimension, and a lot of it leads back to Ravemon. Train and Machi worked with that DATS agent and found out that they're working with the criminal Frightcrow. Cruger confirmed Ravemon having a seal and that he's making war plans, and we've got evidence that he's been interacting with some would-be mastermind named Master Planner. And on top of that, the Chaotix found out he's trying to amass an armada.
That's where the info I tracked down comes in. There's a man in Neon City named Otto Octavius, and he's more than likely this "Master Planner" fellow. He's also found some way to control Chaosdramon.
Things are starting to come together. More than likely, Ravemon ordered the mass attacks. We know he's preparing for war, and demoralizing everyone can potentially leave them susceptible to what Frightcrow is supplying him with - hallucinogenic gas. But more than that, it was likely an ego ploy...
We have dirt on him. Real dirt, and on him and Octavius. We need to accomplish two objectives: get this information out there and find a way to undermine it. We've also made a few strong ties with DATS, too, so we should probably find a way to work with those. I personally have an in with one of their tactical commanders.
But this is also a team effort. I need to know what you guys think. Whatever we decide, we need to make sure everyone gets their say before we move forward.
