I'm working but I'm not.

I'm hungry but not so much.

I care but, then again, no.

I'd like to provide a real update but I just can't seem to think of anything for myself. So...

One of the computers crashed in Student Affairs today, which is poopie because it just shows how important a computer is and how much it can fuck you over when it fails. I'm tempted to go out and buy all kinds of backup hardware and whatnot so that I never lose anything but what would I lose? 3 years of essays, a couple free programs off the internet, my email contact lists and whatever virus has been plaguing me for the past couple of months. So it's not that big of a deal. It would just make me said. Because I live on email. And livejournal. And facebook.

God, I'm a computer whore.

My dad, however, MUST have his computer backed up because that shit is scary. All of his business is on 1 computer and, if it fails, no more money, no more jobs. And he doesn't even have a great computer, either, so it's bound to crash sooner or later.

I just sent him an email and hopefully he'll get to that.

I'm feeling more and more like a producer lately. I'm taking the initiative with the Swados piece (sorry for all the emails, by the way but I need this to reach everybody at NYU so, if you're on multiple list serves, you'll receive it multiple times) and I'm also fighting to get HAIR right now.

Rumor has it I have the rights. This is true. I do have the rights. However, I don't have a hard copy of the rights in my hands, which is what I need in order for GAP to approve me. So I have to go to Tams-Whitmark and pick up a hard copy. No big deal. Easy. However, I have to pick them up without T-W realizing I'm a student. I think I shall say I'm ASM'ing and hope they don't ask my name. Of course, I should call ahead as the producer and make sure it's okay to send "my ASM" to pick them up. Or maybe I should send someone else as "my ASM" but then I have to make sure they know everything I know so that they can answer any unexpected questions. "Jordan Woods-Robinson is producing the show.....Playwrights Horizons....Tisch School of the Arts....yadda yadda" As long as it's not said that I'm faculty or a producer at playwrights, it's not a lie. So that's my dilemma now.

It's funny how when I send an email for HAIR out to the students, I'll get hundreds of responses. But when I send an email out to the same group of people asking them for help with a show (AKA the LIZ SWADOS piece for FRESHMEN), I have 3 responses in my mailbox. THREE.

Well guess what, bitches. I'm in the process of getting the rights to send an email to the entire undergraduate, graduate, alumni and faculty body at NYU. It will happen. And you will receive yet another email.

And you will respond.
