"There's nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways that you yourself have changed."
Maybe the quote above is why I love CBS so much. I've been going there
since the summer after 5th grade. 5 summers is a lot of change and camp
is a place to notice that. On a heart monitor you know the little green
line that moves up and down to the beat of your heart? well the bottom
point that it always comes back to is called the baseline. That's what
camp is to me. No matter what goes on during the year, in the summer I
can always go back to the same place, the baseline, and pick it up
where I left off. Whether it's another Silver Spurs/ Lone Stars game or
cheerfest, (Go Silver, Fight Silver, GO SILVER SPURS) or cheering on
the Rough Riders and Texas Rangers (Do you wanna be a Rider *wut wut*
Do you wanna be a Rider *wut wut* Rough Riders...) or even another
karaoke moment in the Rio (dining room) I just can't get enough. Just
being out there makes me feel calm, like everything's going to be okay.
I wanna raise my voice like thunder
And leave the world in wonder of this change
The change inside of me
And I will never stop believing
You are the reason for this change
The change inside of me
Camp is a great place to grow stronger in God as well. Somehow without
the real world screaming in your ear telling you what to do you can
hear God and its really cool..............
.............sorry but I gotta go do stuff so I shall pick it up when I return!
