Fuck a court (continued)
So, to continue from last post, sitting and waiting for jury selection sucked, I tried reading some of The Chronicles of Narnia, but the section I was on was insanely boring, so I decided to get online and do an update, and of course half way through they call my group and tell us all the trials our judge had were all taken care of and we can leave. Luckily this week they also started a new policy. The lady said before, that if you didn't get picked you'd have to go back for a week or until you got picked, whichever was first, and that if you didn't get picked they could send you another jury summons anytime. Well, with this new policy, just showing up counts, and if you don't get picked you're all done and don't have to come back at all, also it counts full jury duty and you can't be asked back for a year. Fucking sweet.
By the time I got out it was just about the time I would normally leave for work, so I could've gone in and worked my full shift, but I am lazy and want a day off to watch the 9 movies I bought this week, before all that I headed to Best Buy and got the original Night of the Living Dead and am now starting my Zombie Movie Marathon. How exciting.
On a down note, hack_me_bitch texted me and said there is apparently a mandatory 8 hour shift on Saturday because QLV department can't handle their shit, hopefully she is just fucking with me, but I doubt it. Don't matter because I CAN NOT work the shift, I have a tattoo appointment at 1 and can't cancel, so work can suck it.
