"BAT your eyes girl..."
Ok, time for a real update, even though much not has happened.
Friday work was shitty and I was in a bad mood so on break I went to the comic store and bought some shit:
Joker and Scarecrow from the Batman: Hush Series, and also The Stories of Alan Moore, which I got solely for The Killing Joke, which was AMAZING, and I'm sure the rest is great. I went back to work and was still pissy, so I left a tad early and went to EB, but even after an hour or so of searching I found nothing, so I went home and Photoshopped all night.
Saturday I rented X-Men: The Official Movie Game, which was.... ok, parts of it were cool, but over all it was too short and easy. I also rented Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, which was kinda cool, it was more puzzle than action, which was cool, except the puzzles were way too simplistic. Oh well. I also decided to pre-order a Gameboy DS Lite, all thanks to new Zelda coming out soon, there is other games I want too, but it was mostly Zelda. Then that night we some people from work and I saw See No Evil, which was soooooo god awful, DO NOT see it. EVER.
That's about it, the rest of the week has been spent working and photoshopping. Oh yeah, I also bought Batman: The Return of Hush, which is a sequel to the amazing Hush series. While at Blockbuster on Saturday I asked about a Batman Begins promo poster, and they said I could have it when they were done with it, which was surprisingly quick as they called me last night and I picked it up today after work:
And as you can see from my last post, I tried to make a phone post from work today but for some reason it all didn't go through. It basically said that thanks to stupid lazy people not being able to do their shit at work everyone has to stay late now. So I get to work 10 hour shifts everyday this week. It especially sucks for tomorrow as I need to go in balls early so I can make home in time for Lost. And then Friday is going to suck because I want to go in early so I'm not there all night, but we are seeing X-Men 3 at midnight Thursday, so I'm going to be up all late. So yeah, that'll be fun times. The paycheck will be nice though and will probably go towards an XBOX 360.
PS - I also did a cleansing of my friends list, mostly just people I no longer talk to, or who never post. So everyone reading this, go check my friends list, if you're not on it, but I'm on yours, please remove me, mmmkay?
