What a fun fun weekend. Friday was Silent Hill, I really enjoyed it, it was nothing spectacular, but I wasn't expecting it to be. I was expecting a fun horror suspense movie, and that's what I got, plus it did a GREAT job of capturing the video game. I think it would've been a lot better if we didn't have to deal with the ridiculous people that were there. Everyone was laughing at all the wrong parts and were attempting to be funny and yell jokes halfway down the theater. I hate people. After that hack_me_bitch, Tess, Lynda, and I went to T.G.I.Fridays and got some food. Around 12:30 everyone was getting tired and left, I was still wide awake though so I went and met up with some wretchedbabydol, mrfurious, ldygabilan, and tekalpha at Main Street Pub.
When I got there it was about closing time, so I ordered 1 beer and the waitress kept confusing everything and kept doing that Carlos Mencia "Dee-de-dee" thing. I wanted to punch her. Nicki, Gabby, Brad, and Matt went to Nicki's work to use the bathroom (it is right across the street and is much quicker than waiting in line at the pub), and when they got back the bouncer refused to let them in because it was closing time, even though they had been there all night, had drinks at the table, and had to pay there tabs. Ridiculous. So, yeah, they were closing so we all went over to JoshGilGabby's house and had more fun times there. Liisa was there and was WASTED. She was being so retarded, falling everywhere, rambling about all sorts of dumb shit, trying to make out with Brad (who is supposedly gay, but he was all over her too), she was did a shot of jager and didn't like it and was spitting all over the sink, then she went out side and slammed the door really really hard, then was spitting all over everywhere. Everyone was getting über sick of her, but it was still funny at the same time. Eventually it got late and everyone went home.
Saturday I sat around a bit, then drove around Melbourne looking for a couch. The first few places I went (furniture stores) had pretty much nothing under $300, and so I decided I had to go to a thrift store. Josh said CITA (Christ is the Answer) is a good place, so I headed over there and found a cool little couch for $50 (turns out it is a pull out bed as well, there's no room for it, but it's good to know if I ever need an extra bed). Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in my car though so I got to sit there for 40 minutes while I waited for my Dad to bring my Sisters car there to pick it up. While I was waiting I got to watch the last half of Anaconda, god what a shittastic movie. So, yeah, got home, moved my couch into my room, which was a huge hassle. While moving it in my Dad was saying how hot it is in my room and how I should get an AC unit now that I have a job. I had been thinking about it anyway, so I decided I may as well, but I was tired so I spent the rest of the day watching movies on my comfy new [used] couch. At around 9 I met up with Dan at JDs. It was actually really fun for the first time in a long time. 2 fat chicks got in a fight, apparently over a pool table, shit was funny. Elyn also came and hung out, and then eventually Nicki did too. Not much went on, but it was just a fun time.
As for today, my Dad woke me up at 11am because he went and got me an AC unit and wanted to install it before it got all late. So did that and god is it amazing how much of a difference it makes, it is about 65º in here and it is awesome. The rest of the day was spent rewatching season 1 of Lost. Sooooooo good.
Also, tekalpha did this a few weeks ago, and now that "Project: Home Theater" (AKA reorganizing my room) is all done, I figured I would too.
