Tuesday - Woke up then headed down to Best buy to get Lost: The Complete 1st Season. I got that and also ended up buying A Life Less Ordinary, Natural Born Killers, Bubble Boy, and Night at the Roxbury. Came home and then spent all day watching the first 4 discs of Lost.
Wednesday - Spent the whole day watching the last 3 discs of Lost
Thursday - Watched the other movies I bought and played random video games. At some point I received an email from MTV.com, the little article they did on me/my Zelda tattoo is finally up. Check it out HERE. More movies and video games, ended up watching a copy of Crash that Dan gave me, and holy shit, it was great. After that was bed.
Friday - Sat around, then drove to West Palm. On the way down there I stopped at Best Buy and bought Crash, then continued down to see Sassy_mollassey. When I got there we ordered some chinese and then watched movies all night. It was a nice relaxing night.
Saturday - woke up, got lunch with Jennies mom, then Jennie and I went to the party store to look for halloween costumes. They had a sweet Batman mask, but you cant have a sweet mask like that then have a shitty rest of costume, so fuck that. After that we went to EB since Jennie had this urge to play Zelda: Ocarina of Time so she went to buy that and I found Batman: Dark Tomorrow which I've been looking for for a while, so I got that. Afterwards we did some shopping at Target and caducusa called since he was in the area for a job interview. Eventually we met up with him, then went to Jennies and played Trivial Pursuit: Pop Culture 2 (I won of course) before heading out to a bar to meet up with some of Jennies friends. So, we get there and have some drinks, Duncan orders us a round of these shots, called an "X-ray", which is X-rated fusion liquor with a splash of jager. It was.... good. Kind of weird fruity perfume taste to it, but it was good. Hung out some more, drank some more, Duncan left to go home at some point, more drinks, more talking, I got pretty drunk, not sloppy drunk, but fun drunk, eventually we went home, watched some movies, then sleep.
Sunday - Woke up, sat around, watched Jennie play Zelda, then headed home. Drive drive drive. Got home, played some Batman: Dark Tomorrow and downloaded 2 CDs from this awesome band, Sons and Daughters, which is kind of a scottish folk alternative indie rock thing. Very good. Thank you to Mr. Elijah Wood for recommending them, he mentioned them at the con, but I only got around to checking them out now. I also found out they are playing here on the 28th with The Decemberists, who I've wanted to see for a while, it's only $15, so I may go, but at the same time I'm already not in the mood to drive there and sit around alone, so if anyone wants to go, let me know. I will most likely end up going though as I really really love The Decemberists.
So, yeah, did that, now I'm watching the season premiere of The Simpsons, and it's pretty crappy, but that was expected. There's premiers on all night, so I'm going to do that, then more Batman. Fun times.
Oh yeah, last weekend I ordered a new bumper sticker and it was waiting for me when I got home, how sweet:
