OK, before updates, just a few quick shout outs,
Thursday was mine and Jennies 6 month anniversary. I can't believe it's been 6 months already. I didn't update then, so...

And now, on to the updates;
Tuesday - I don't think I did much really, just sat around playing videogames and watching TV. Around 9 p0sta1, Dan, Duncan, and I headed down to JDs for drinks. Nothin special, just hanging out, drinks, talking, the usual.
Wednesday - Woke up early and headed down to Palm Bay to trade hard drives with Andrew. He bought a new one that worked great. So, went dwn there, got the new hard drive, came home and started editing. At first it sucked, I had never edited a wedding before, or anything really, for that matter, that didn't hav a script. Plus I hadn't edited in about 10 months or so, and I never really used Final Cut, I knew how it worked and all that, but I never actually edited on it. So with all that I kind of just freaked out a bit and was all "OK, I have NO idea what I'm doing" then stared at the monitor for a few minutes. I wacthed the demo he gave me liek 14 times and finally figured out how I wanted to go about it. So I edited for about 3 hours, got the pre-ceremony done pretty much just how I wanted it, just needed to do a few touch ups on it. Then I watched some TV and edited a bit more, hen eventually went to bed.
Thursday - Woke up, went to edit only to find out i was missing a piece of footage. I called Andrew about it and he said it was in the project file, which we found out won't oen because he has Final Cut 4.5 and I have Final Cut 4.0, so yeah, I need to get an upgrade. So I just skipped that footage and went to work on the reception. Wokred on that all day, at about 6 torifananblue came over, I had burnt her a CD and wanted someone to look at my editing to get an outside opinion, so she came over, chilled a bit, her son is so funny, he was attempting to play Star Wars Legos but couldn't really figure it out, and he was totally going crazy freaking out trying to figure out what to do and asking questions and shit. Barbara checked out my editing, said it was good. lets just hope Andrew thinks so. It was just really tough because the people in the wedding were so boring, the one on his demo, the girl talks alot and is interesting and looks happy, on this one, the girl looks bored, no one really says anything, and it's just really nothing interesting. Plus it's my first job for him so I'm nervous about it not being good. Anyway, Barbara left and I did more editing, watched some tv, then to bed.
Friday - Woke up, sat around a bit, wached some TV, packed, then left for West Palm to see my sassy_mollassey. The trip sucked ass, it ws pouring the whole way down, I had to go like 50 MPH most the way there, it took me like 2 and half hours to get there, lameness. We had a great wonderful night though, very relaxing, cuddled a bit, then ordered some pizza and watched CSI. Just very relaxing night, it was great.
Saturday - Woke up and Jennie, Marie, their mom, their moms friend, and I headed out to do some shopping for baby suff and they needed new clothes for their vacation, so did that all day, shopping with 4 women. For baby stuff. FUN. It really wasn't so bad actually, but I'll be honest, it wasn't the funnest thing ever. We did get to get some delicious lunch from The Cheesecake Factory, very good. After that Jennie and I went back home and just laid around and watched TV then eventually went to bed.
Sunday - Woke up, headed to a baby shower for her brother-in-laws step bro and his wife. It was actually kind of fun, It was more of a barbeque than a baby shower. There was burgers and hotdogs and games and all. Fun times, eventually we left, I packed up, and headed home. It didn't rain as much this time, but it did get bad at one point. I looked in my rear view mirror and so flashiing cop lights. FUCK. I moved to the right lane, and looked at my speedometer and it said 60. I thought "wtf, why I'm not speeding" then the cop sped past me. That all happened in like 1 second, but it felt liek 5 minutes. Stupid cops. Anyway, got home, watched some TV, those pieces I ordered for my lightsaber FINALLY came in last week sometime, so we put those on, it didn't come out as good as I hoped, some of the pieces aren't exactly straight or exactly where they need to be, but it looks pretty good, oh yeah, except all the rubber is peeling off the grip, so I need to redo that. After that I watched some more TV, then around 12 finally started editing the last tape for the reception, after about 2 hours I finished editing the 15 minutes of footage I had and went to save, when Final Cut crashed. MOTHER FUCKER. All that work I just did was gone. I went out to have a smoke then went back and edited again. Since I knew what I wanted already and approximately where the clips I needed were it only ook about 30 minutes to do, plus this time I turned the TV off so I could concentrate. So, finsihed that, e-mailed Andrew to the him know I was done and needed to ick u p the other footage, then went to bed.
Today - Woke up to Andrew calling, I gotta go there at 7:30 tonight, which sucks, because I'm going to miss CSI, but it does leave me all day to do nothing. So I think i'll just play videogames all day. Hopefully I can finish the other editing tonite, which should be very easy as its just a matter of choosing between 2 cameras, not choosing clips and cuts and all. I don't know about the next project though, I was hoping to get the footage early today so I could finish it by Wednesday morning then head up to Orlando with Jennie and her family for vacation, but that didn't happen. So now my plan is to finish this project tonite, drop it off tomorrow, then either pick up the next project tomorrow or wait till ater vacation, which I may have to do since the old hard drive still isn't working so he needs another new one. Either way I hope to be in Orlando by wednesday afternoon, but we'll see what happens. For now though, I'm out to eat and play videogames all day.
