guh, this is fucking lame. THIS is a hurricane? im never believing another weather guy again. "OMG WORST HURRICANE TO HIT THE EAST COAST IN OVER 100 YEARS!!! OMG!!" this shit is nothing. i mean, yes, i realized it slowed down and shit but theyre still goin on about "it may be only a 2 but this is still very dangerous". maybe its just the area im in or somethin but its nothin over here. i mean, yeah, theres some kinda strng winds and its a bit rainy, but nothin terrible. we have 2 tiny ass trees that fell over next door, a litle woodden sign broke down the road and a tree is leaning at an agle at another house, and alot of leaveson the road. thats about it though. no shingles missing anywhere, no broken windows, no downed mailboxes, nothin. im glad thres no real destruction, but i mean, c'mon, ive been waitin for this shit to get here for almost a week and all i hear is "mass destruction, slow moving storm, very high winds, manditory evacuation, end of the world, everyones gonna die" and we get a few leaves in the road and some loud wind that wouldnt let me sleep cuz the dogs kept barking.
fuckign hell, we didnt even lose power or cable. yesterday me and my dad sat around playing trivial pursuit pop culture and watched the entire Back to the Future Trilogy then later on watched the big lebowski. it was fun jus chillin with my dad. he fell asleep around 1 or so just as were spposed to "get the worst winds of the storm" i went outside to videotape some of this shit, i dont think it came out so welel, not enough light, which sucks, but o well, i did the best i could. it still wasnt even so bad. there was one area that was wide open on all sides and the wind there belw me back a few feet but mostly cuz i wasnt expecting it. but yeah, it was nothing bad. ima walk arounf the nighborhood in a few and get some pics of any destruction, if there is any.
but yeah, the worst part of this is all this constant news coverage over nothin really big and the boredom. im not in the mood to play videogames right now and no ones online, i think i may go watch the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy as its been a while since i watched them. but the worst is probably that timerunning evacuated to orlando and i havent talked to her since wednesday night(and didnt even say good bye cuz my dumbass fell asleep inbetween IMs) and i dunno if shes ok. i mean, im sure she is, shes in orlando and i dont think they got fucked too bad, but im not sure exactly where in orlando(area) she is and im a lil worried plus i miss talking to her all night. hopefully she'll be back tonite or tomorrow. but for now im out, gonan go for a walk, smoke a cig and take some pics, then figure some shit to do.
