So I told them that they weren't worthy of owning a certain item from a certain band...
That's only my opinion because it's not like you discovered them on a search for good music, or came across them just casually. You came across them because a past relationship, in which you claimed to like them at first only so your little pathetic boyfriend would think you had more in common with him.
Its sad really.
I'm not claiming to be "badass" as YOU said, I only don't go around pretending to be the greatest fan for a band which I listened to because my girlfriend listens to them.
And maybe I am being an asshole, but when it comes to music, I'm pretty fuckin' passionate about it, so I feel I have a right to speak my mind. He/She who doesn't like it, can fuck themselves. For I do not need to keep contact with people who get easily offended.
