(no subject)
I have a somewhat interesting post today. This morning at around 3:27 am, we heard something fall. So dad comes out of his room to get philippe and says"come help me, a branch fell". I vaguely remember hearing something like a huge pile of books falling on dirt, but i was in a deep sleep so idk. SO i get out of bed to see the branch. But lo and behold, it wasn't a branch... it wasn't a branch at all. We saw a bear that had fallen out of a tree dead on the ground....
...So I bet you want to read more about this bear. Yeah well there was no bear, that was a joke. But what really happened was a tree fell...on my mom's car.now you may think this is horrible, or you may think i don't care. well go ahead and think so. its kinda interesting (hence "interesting post") that this tree happened to fall towards the house. and now you may think it hit the house, which it did, but no damage was done to the house except for a bunch of leaves in the gutter.it feel right in that nook next to the living room and my parents bedroom.if it were to have fallen a few feet to the left or a few feet to the right, then we would feel an awful draft.
But do you have any idea how strange it is to be woken up at 3:30 in the morning and find a tree on the ground in front of our house, that could have killed any of us, had it fallen in a different direction or at a different time?Yeah, well i do. my moms car has some damage. her hood is broken, her fender is dented, the frame is a little dented, and the windshield is broken.its probably about $5000 in damage, which is what the car is worth, so it might be considered "totaled". they'll give us a $5000 down payment probably, rather than fix it.
Rusty loves it, he's using it as a doggie jungle gym (emphasis on jungle). he's enjoying himself jumping over it or crawling under it, all doggie style (no pun intended).
This post is a bit longer than i expected and i wonder if you read it. well the moral of this story is "don't let trees fall on your mommy's car," cause then you wont have a car for college, however your mother will get a new fancy car
and i wonder how many people i tricked about the whole bear thing
