I sat up quickly as I looked around the room. It was nothing like the basement, the smell was actually nice and Harris's mom wasn't yelling for us to get the laundry out. I arched an eyebrow as I turned to Xander. He was sleeping like a baby and all I could think was to wake him up. I wasn't used to waking up in strange and unusual places and this wasn't much help. Although the room had it's perks like having my stuff there in a nice organized fashion.
I got out of bed quickly to observe the place. I was naked and wondered if anyone would be lurking in the shadows like Spike so often did. I had told Xander plenty of times before that we should get our own place and after looking at this one I was quickly falling in love. There was a nice few right outside, I wanted to get a better look but being naked and all I didn't think it was appropriate. Well I didn't think Xander would approve but what exactly was I supposed to do about that?
I was getting chilling as I headed towards the kitchen. Xander was more than likely going to sleep all day and he had to work in a few hours. Ice cream wasn't going to sell itself. I gagged at the thought of me tagging along with him yet again. Those kids were very obnoxious, spoiled and I rather much didn't like their attitudes. Yesterday I almost told off one of the fat kids but Xander closed the window on me. How was I supposed to know I could traumatize him, he was big and it wasn't like he couldn't handle it.
I shivered as the air conditioner popped on, and I wondered where exactly my clothes were. I quickly made my way back to where Xander was and watched him sleep. I narrowed my eyes as I took my hand back. I used all of my energy and slapped in the face a few times to wake him up. I kept my eye on him as he gave me one of those 'stop that right this instant looks.' I didn't know if he was mad or just tired but I was assuming mad.
"Where are my clothes?"
I asked hoping to get a response but after a grunt and roll over I knew better. I turned around and started to go through the dressers. I could find plenty of old ragged clothes but nothing really worth wearing. I headed to the closest and found some nice interesting choices. I let out a cheerful 'hmm' before exploring all my options.
