Another installment of "Things Sara Didn't Really Understand For a Long Time."
You know those commercial from the Christian groups telling you to "sponser a child"? Well, when I was younger, I was confused by the wording of the commercials. They said stuff like "for just 30 cents a day" etc, and I thought that you were actually buying one of the kids that were starving.
Also, I just learned a few weeks ago from the cooking channel that eggplants aren't purple all the way through. I had always assumed that they were. My bad.
