We should have turned this into a betting pool - the majority of you would be rich, and Harper - Good Godric, an E? You'd have had to have paid up to half the class.

You deserve it, you moody sod.

Ah - I see why you have been so infatuated with me, Demelza, dear. Impressed by my averages, were you? I'm so sorry to have disappointed you this time round.

Yes - the E was unfortuate in comparison to the general average of the class - but it does not hinder my ambitions. Or so I keep telling myself. Granted - it shall NEVER occur again. You hear that, Cadwallader?

Harper, you vain arse - I am not and never have been infatuated with you. End of story.

You know, I wouldn't be half surprised if you were infatuated with me. You certainly like imagining I admire you well enough.

Or, if not - perhaps you harbour secret admiration for Cad? I don't see you getting all sodding moody around him, now.

1. Your denial is so very cliche, darling.
2. Oh, is this your method of trying to deduce if I fancy you back? I am not so easily fooled.
3. How disappointing, Demelza! This is your attempt to make yourself feel better about your infatuation? "Oh, he must be gay" is your attitude if you can't have the illustrious me?

Say this to my face, and I would so hex your limbs off, Harper.

If I pretend to say that, 'Yes, I am infatuted with you, oh illustrious Quintus Calidus Sodding Harper, the Bastard', will you leave me alone?

If you didn't have your journal, I wouldn't have to even GO there.

Admitting your infatuation with me is more so for your benefit than mine, dear. I already know.

In the future, you may refer to me as Quintus. As delightful as all those additional names are, they really aren't practical for everyday use.
