well i pretty much havent updated this all summer. part laziness, mostly being too busy. my summer has been pretty stinkin awesome. started it off with an AMAZING trip to saranac. the funnest week of my life. no joke. my cabin = incredible. it was rediculous. i loved it. theeeen my birthday was SWEEEEET! got a car...and a digital camera. didnt do anything like big or anything. went to lunch and the beach with byrdie. hung out with the fam for a bit. then went to see willy wonka with byrd, amanda, jaime and alyssa. it was awesome. and i went to BG with the coolest people in the world the day before. then...i went on the journey. dun dun dun. now let me just tell you exactly what the journey is. wellll it was a retreat for spring branch. awesome thing is, they didnt tell you where you were going. the whole weekend. you had no clue. you found out when you got there. which made it intense amounts of awesomness. definitely an awesome weekend. i really got to hang out and meet some sweet people. me and lg figured out that we drove like 22 hours that weekend. it was insane because we stayed at a different place all 3 nights. it was awesome. the first place we stayed at were these really rugged cabins and we couldnt find the bathroom, considering it was dark and we didnt get there till like 130 a.m. then the second place we stayed at was just amazingly beautiful. i cant even explain it. it was gorgeous. funny story...we were driving in and i was in the car with lg, teri and becca. so lauren is like "aw this place is sooo cute! i just wanna eat it up" then like 2 seconds later we pass a sign that says "2nd street" and lauren bursts out..." 2nd street...GET IN MY BELLY!!!!!" holy crap. i thought i was gonna pee myself. funniest thing ever! anyways...then we drove to the top of the highest mountain on the east side of the mississippi river. now thats an amazing sight. we were driving up and seriously...my car was silent. we were speachless. it was amazing. its really something that makes you think...how could you not believe in God after seeing something like that. it was beautiful. and then we set up our tents back at the campsute and right behind our site was this gorgeous stream. seriously, i wish i could explain how beautiful everything was, but i just cant. then the next morning we left...drove like all day. stayed at this church conference center. that was tons of fun. then we left the next morning to come home but on the way, we went white water raftingggg!!! oh my gosh...tons of fun. i loved it. then came back and went straight to common ground. which was awesome. im glad we went straight to common ground and they didnt drop us off at our houses...its a lot better to come home to friends. and i missed everyone, even though it was only a weekend. wow, i didnt realize i would write so much about that. haha. well then the rest of my summer has been hanging out with friends. which has been great. it was pretty tough when everyone left for college. and when brittany left for hong kong. wow that sucked. because i really do miss them a lto and i just dont want our friendships to change. but i guess ill just have to see what happens. school starts soon, holy mother. im gonna be sooooo busy. but itll be good. and im doing powerjam!!! wheeeeee!! im soooooo excited about that. its gonna be fantastic!!!. welll enough of this. you're probably bored. thanks for reading!! commentttttt! <333333333333
