Wow! Who knew the blues could be so much fun? A big group of us went to see this teacher blues band Friday night in downtown. It was so much fun, I could not believe it. I knew a bunch of the songs, but that is mostly because Joe listens to it a bunch so I've learned. But that doesn't mean that I don't think it's good music 'cause it is. But what I can't get over is how much fun all of us had! It seemed a little too short, but that's okay 'cause that gave us a chance to hang out at home afterwards. One of the best parts was that Buff came down for the weekend. It's been great to see her, seeing as how she didn't get a chance to be around last semester.
Anyway, this whole weekend was fun seeing as how yesterday was a completely relaxing day. It all started with me making french toast in the morning for all of us girls. Yum. Then Judy, Kim and I hung around and were lazy until we decided to go out and figure out something to do. When that didn't work out due to a massive accident that tied up traffic majorly (and incidentally caused a huge amount of people to all decide they wanted Chick Fil-A exactly when we wanted it) we headed to Ocean City to bother/hang out with Joe. Have I ever mentioned how delicious Dumser's ice cream is? If not, it needs to be in every entry I make. Oh is it good. Can you tell that's where we went to for a snack? Then we swung by and picked up Joe from work and headed to the outlets to spend some money. I struck gold....I walked out of there with 2 new pairs of shoes and two new shirts! I love a good shopping trip.
Anyway, today is the day most of us have been waiting for...the day when the rest of our friends return from winter break and their respective homes to come hang out with us for the next few months. And go to classes of course. Let me just say I can't wait to see everyone. But for now, until tonight, I'm just gonna hang here with myself and watch a real tear-jerker.
