I'm a SUPERSTAR!!!...
I just finished watching Superstar with Katie Cleary. It really is my favorite movie ever. I can relate everything in my life to Mary Katherine Gallagher. That movie is the most inspirational and all together SWEETEST film EVER! Sigh...
I want to be a superstar...
I also want the perfect hollywood kiss. You know, the kind where you tilt your head at just that perfect angle and kick your leg back and everything seems to slip into place as if it had been planned out. And then some cheesy love song starts to play in the background. And then, as you slowly pull apart, you look into the guys eyes and are all like... wow... I want that. I want to be swept off my feet...
I also want a choreographed dance number in the middle of a lunch room to the song "Everybody Dance Now"...
I guess I could settle for just one of those. One out of three isn't bad...
But, if I had a choice, I'd definitely go with the choreographed dance number.
I'm happy Katie came over today. I didn't get to see her at all during summer break due to our schedules, so we finally have a chance to chill. She had never seen Superstar before, so I'm very glad I was able to open her eyes to such a classic piece of movie history.
On another good note, Brian called me today. We talked for a bit... very simple and short, but it's nice to know we're still keeping up contact.
I'm seriously so happy that I'm keeping in touch with all of my friends in college. Now that they're not here, I'm beginning to realize how much they all mean to me.
If I know you and you're in college and you HAVEN'T called me, get off your ass and pick up the phone and dial my phone number...
