Let me explain my last blog a little. Ok, so here's how last nights audition went. We...
-Sat in circle and introduced ourselves for over an hour... of course...
-Listened to Bob babble and rant... of course...
-Did this improve in which half the group became a parade and the other half reacted and then we switched off and on. It was completely pointless...
-Faked ballet to Swan Lake.... .... irrelevant!!!
-Learned a song... that I can't remember for the life of me... and then stopped learning it....
-Performed a dance that literally is "I'm a Brass Band", "Kansas City", and "One Night in Bangkok" slapped together with much haste... and we rolled on the floor... for fucking MUSIC MAN!
-Went BACK to learning the song... and sang it once in a giant swarm... and then each of us performed it solo.
-Left early... because I couldn't take it anymore... and by early I mean 34 minutes late...
Listen... last night was NO FUN. No fun AT ALL... Like, NWT auditions should be, if anything, a stupid good time in which you can just laugh and fuck around and shed your skins for a bit and just... give it your all at the same time. I didn't WANT to give it me all... I really didn't care. I was just tired and in pain from rolling on the wooden floor and wanted it to be overwith.
And listen... do you know who I CAN'T with? Deb Baker... fucking DEB BAKER. She NEEDS to understand the meaning of personal bubble. PERSONAL.... BUBBLE.... She touches me and makes annoying comments to me and whispers to me and I just.... don't want her to! At all... ever... Deb Baker go away!
Ooo... and then.... and THEN... As I'm filling out my audition form, Bob fucking Navis comes up and says to me "Roger, I can hardly even tell it's you anymore! I mean the hair and the face and just... everything! I'm shocked, I'm surprised, I'm in awe, I'm SEXUALLY ATTRACTED to you more then ever before... *raspy Bob laughter*"
Sarah Hess... you were there... you heard it... and you can back me up on this. Joke or not, Bob Navis still ... kind of... HIT ON ME!!! ....
