When setting a goal, make sure it is

Specific  -  is the goal clear enough to be translated into an actionable plan?

Measurable  -  can I even tell if or to what extent the goal has been achieved? Can I measure progress?

Achievable  -  do I have any chance at all to achieve it ?

Relevant  -  do I need this fight, or is it just vanity or somebody else's war?

Time-scheduled - do I have a timeline to achieve this goal?

The rest is perseverance and technicalities.
