1. Abalones
Everything started with my best friend checking www.behindthename.com, searching for a name for a character of her and copying&pasting the most ridicolous ones to me. One had the meaning "Sharp like an abalone shell", and that made us laugh both because, well, it DOES sound stupid, and also for the simple reason that she owns a character called Abel, who we're used to call Abelone 8DD However, after we found the word again, while searching for pretty jewels on ebay, it started to became an habit to put it in the most inappropriate way in every sentence of mine, make icons out of abalones photos, and planning to open an abalone-themed gadget shop in the future.
2. Anobii
One of my sweetest obsession, a wonderful site I found thanks to darling
rosenblut, which gives me the chance to vote and comment the books I read so that I can keep in mind the fresh emotions I received from them, check other libraries and discover WAY TOO MANY new books XDD♥♥
3. Drizzt Do'Urden
The most long fantasy saga I've ever read. I've always been in love with this character, no matter how old-looking and ugly he had always been drawn on the covers of the books (for christ's sake, HE'S A DROW -an elf- they DON'T look like that) and even though my love for him didn't warrant my keeping on reading the books even when they started to be pretty boring, I couldn't stop until he and Catti-Brie FINALLY GOT TOGETHER. How much was it, twelve goddamn books? I can be such a fangirl.
4. Mamegoma
My softest spot ever - little Mamegoma seals are absolutely the cutest thing of the world, they make me squeal like there's no tomorrow and weep for their unbearable cuteness TAT♥♥♥ I found out about them long time ago, on a site, and I had immediately bought a plush...now I have, well, four I think XD
5. Stephen Hawking
One of my heroes! One magic day I sat on my sofa and started to read for no reason a volume of an encyclopedia we just got with a newspaper, and that's how I learnt about superstrings and all that jazz...after that, I started to read some of the books written by this man and I fell in love with modern physics -no matter how much I don't understand a thing about it. I even have an icon with him. In Simpson version, that is.
6. Kanon
Ancafè's pretty bassist! Although often not exactly the most photogenic person in the world, I love his cute face and his awesome clothes -I have no idea if he's a good bassist or not, but I definitely like the music he contributes to create, too. I fell in love with him for the first time when my friend Giulia made me see Wagamama Koushinkyouku's video...believe me, he looks hot, there. Hmhm.
7. Regina Spektor
Definitely one of my favourite singers and artits, and the female vocalists I love the most ♥ I heard her voice for the first time when
kurue sent me "Fidelity", telling me that it made him think of Naminé (the character I play in the Kingdom Hearts roleplay he created) I loved it deeply, both execution and lyrics, and slowly but surely I started to download other songs, then all the albums, then the songs outside the albums, and now...she's my most listened artist at Last.FM. I love her!
