allergies suck. . .
So apparently sometime since October I've developed an allergy to cats. This is unfortunate because we happen to have a cat to whom we are both very attached, and regardless of my allergist's attempts to bully us into finding her a new home, she is not going anywhere. So my only real alternative at this point is allergy shots. Unfortunately this involves another set of (more sensitive) allergy tests to determine *all* of my allergies, which requires me to stop all of my allergy medication (except for nasal sprays and Benadryl) for a month. After only two days, this has become so miserable that I've started taking Benadryl during the day if I have nothing of much importance to do. Unfortunately, it appears that Benadryl has an even stronger adverse effect on my mental faculties than alcohol does. Ah, well. It should be an entertaining month for Ryan, at least. :)
