So according to my pulmonologist, even though I don't actually have asthma, my lungs think I do, at least right now, and they're acting asthmatic. So even though all the tests for asthma are negative, I'm having asthma symptoms and need to be treated for them, and therefore I'm back on asthma meds temporarily. It's all very strange and confusing. . . I also got a prescription for a helium/oxygen mixture that's supposed to help with the VCD, but insurance may not cover it, so it might be cheaper to get it from a welding company rather than a medical supply company. Something about that just doesn't seem right. . .
