He kissed her.
It was completely unexpected and out of the blue. She was keeping an eye on Parker while Seeley was at work, only for a few hours, and somehow she wound up staying for dinner and watching a movie. Somewhere between the end of The Incredibles and walking out Seeley’s door, he kissed her.
She wasn’t entirely sure what to do with it. She had been avoiding this kind of contact for a good reason-an extremely good reason-but when it was over, she was glad it happened.
He kissed her, and it didn’t feel like Angel.

Her powers started fritzing and she left, not wanting to hurt him, and she didn’t contact him again. Then out of the blue he gets a call from a New Jersey hospital saying that Elle Bishop had come into their ER with a head wound and he was listed as her emergency contact.
When he found her, she was scared. He didn’t know why, but he didn’t hesitate-he kissed the top of her head and promised to take her home, because while he may not understand, he could do at least that.

Sydney knew Eliot wasn’t happy.
He was doing that jaw-clenching-long-glare-I’m-trying-to-intimidate-you thing, and she knew he didn’t want her help in the first place, but she had assets that he needed. The client was more important than his pride. And the fact that she broke his arm once.
That wasn’t going to stop her from being amused.
“You know, we are playing a couple,” she teased, adjusting his jacket. “You might have to kiss me. I hope that’s not a problem for you.”
There was that glare and he headed for the door. “Let’s just do this.”
She grinned. “Coming, honey.”
