(no subject)
I don't think I have even posted an entry since 2012.
The 4th of July is nearly over. It's the first time in years that I haven't gotten drunk during this occasion. I remember the first 4th of July I spent with Lin. We got drunk at Stinson's house. We pretty much just sat there in his living room and drank vodka with a bunch of people. It was great though because i had just gotten back home from my 5 week tour the night before. Oh well, I guess its better to not drink. I have to work tomorrow anyways
The past few months have been up and down. Dabbling with some certain things. I'm giving that up though, I decided this after last Saturday night. Things that mat seem great come with high consequences, which is why I'm getting out now.
Far as the band.. its still going. We have done about 4 shows since the beginning of 2013. Some as a two piece, one with dickhead tino filling in, and we actually got Jake to do a show with us in Kennebunk in April. But there's a mini tour planned for August, yes again! This time it will be cooler than 2 shows like last years show in MA and then NYC. This time we have a local kick off show in Kennebunk, then NYC, and then NJ. Its a bit more complete than last years tour. We still have a day gap to fill between the NYC and NJ show. Even if nothing happens it will still be cool to kill some time in the city. Nate is coming along with us, a big supporter of the band for some reason. And hopefully our new bass player Sean from NH. We will also have copies of our 5 song EP on CD. Gabe Crate (ex A Global Threat) finally did the artwork and sent it to me last January. Its time for those to be pressed. I really hop this works out because Sean seems like a cool guy, and he also has a van.
So... back to work tomorrow. Still painting but I hope not for much longer. I need to replenish the bank account, and its the easiest option right now
