Kensei's birthday was a fun time. We ended up going away for a few days to our house in the country. It definitely did Kensei a lot of good; he's been way too stressed out from work and everything else.
Kaigen's been a joy to have around. He's actually been very quiet for a newborn; he's still sleeping most of the day and night away. But when he's up, he's incredibly active. And he helps me feel not as lonely when Kensei's away at work. I never thought that being a stay-at-home mom would be this much work, but it's also been very rewarding.
Shinji; let me know when you have that party rescheduled, and I'll try and drag Kensei along with me.
